Chantry Networks will demonstrate its award-winning BeaconWorks(TM) wireless LAN product suite this week at The Emerging Technologies and Healthcare Innovations Congress 2004 (TETHIC). BeaconWorks provides customers with a comprehensive subscriber mobility management solution for unprecedented levels of wireless service for data, voice and multimedia applications. Live demonstrations will give attendees hands-on experience with the newest capabilities within BeaconWorks 2.0, showcasing an easy-to-use wireless LAN interface for mobility management, captive portal, 802.1x authentication, and industry leading virtualization capabilities.

Chantry will team with Vocera Communications during the event to demonstrate seamless roaming and voice over Wi-Fi (VoFi) using Vocera's wearable, voice-controlled communications system and Chantry's IP-based wireless networking solution. Chantry's VoFi capabilities deliver virtually zero latency for wireless multimedia traffic and guarantee the highest QoS levels across multiple subnets through BeaconWorks' fast-handoff capabilities.

Demonstrations will also feature Chantry's award-winning VNSWorks(TM) technology, which is embedded in BeaconWorks, and addresses a key requirement for wireless in healthcare by enabling separate virtual network segmentation for practitioners, patients and visitors over one single physical network - giving healthcare providers greater, more secure mobility and accessibility to critical data.
