Samsung Launches SGH-P710 EDGE Handset

SAMSUNG says that it will launch EDGE Samsung SGH-P710 phone, which is based on asynchronous 2.5th generation technology, in Southeast Asia, Europe and the U.S.

The Samsung SGH-P710 EDGE is a typical clamshell phone with 180-degree rotating VGA camera. In addition to various camera-related value-added features such as continuous shooting, framing, and a self-timer, it offers MPEG4 video shooting and transmission features.

The video images captured by the camera phone can be used as video wallpaper.

As SGH-D500E has various multimedia features, including a 1.3 megapixel camera and an MP3 player, it will pose a great opportunity for SAMSUNG Electronics to strengthen its technological competitiveness in Europe. The SGH-P777 supports instant messaging features as well as 1.3 megapixel camera and an MP3 player.
