Volume Logic Now Supports Windows Media Player, Real Player, Musicmatch Jukebox, Nullsoft Winamp, as well as iTunes
Volume Logic digital remastering software for iTunes is now available for Windows Media Player (WMP), Real Player, Musicmatch Jukebox, and Nullsoft Winamp through a free public beta program until January 5, 2005. Final versions of Volume Logic will be priced at $19.95 for each player.
Announced in January 2004, Octiv Volume Logic was the first audio digital re-mastering plug-in for the Apple iTunes player. Volume Logic lets music lovers hear their favorite music with high-quality sound every time -- even when listening on puny computer speakers. Volume Logic has won awards and accolades from numerous industry magazines, such as Pen Computing Magazine, "Top 10 iPod Accessories Award," Macworld Magazine, MacAddict, and more.
The Volume Logic plug-in incorporates a state-of-the-art 5-band dynamics processor that examines and adjusts the audio thousands of times a second. Low levels are intelligently raised and loud signals are kept under control, all in real-time. Anything playing in Volume Logic- compatible players, including MP3s, Internet radio, or CDs, will be digitally remastered for consistent volume level and spectral balance. Files are not scanned or modified. All the audio processing takes place in real-time while the audio is sent to your speakers or headphones.
Volume Logic for Windows Media Player, Real Player, Musicmatch Jukebox, and Nullsoft Winamp will be available for public beta downloads at http://www.octiv.com/index.asp?content=betatest_home, until January 5, 2005.
