First i-mate 3G PDA: PDA2K EVDO
i-mate has announced the launch of its first 3G product, the i-mate PDA2K EVDO. This launch represents a worldwide first for i-mate, with Australia identified as the ideal launch pad of a global rollout.

Powered by the latest Microsoft Windows Mobile Pocket PC software, the i-mate PDA2K EVDO is easy to use, and delivers access to much of the same information on a desktop PC such as emails, calendar and important documents.
The i-mate PDA2K EVDO offers an extensive range of functionality including a convenient built in QWERTY keyboard (accessible by sliding the screen up), Windows Media Player, MSN® Messenger, Bluetooth, a built in digital camera/video recorder (with flash), a sharp 64K full colour screen, a generous 128MB user memory, and an SDIO slot. The i-mate PDA2K EVDO is upgradeable and scaleable to suit changing business & personal requirements.
The new product can also be used as a modem for those who prefer 1xEV-DO network access via their PC's. A great contribution to Australia's metropolitan and rural customers alike, i-mate expect this new device to help further alleviate the geographic digital divide.
