At CTIA Wireless IT and Entertainment 2004, Sorrent today announced an agreement with puzzle master Scott Kim, a renowned creator of original visual thinking puzzles for the Internet, computer games, magazines and toys.

Through the agreement, Sorrent will develop and publish puzzles created by Scott Kim that mobile phone subscribers can receive on a daily basis. Sorrent's Daily Puzzle will be puzzle lovers' first opportunity to get Scott Kim's famed puzzles and games on mobile phones.

"Scott Kim is legendary in the puzzle industry for creating captivating brainteasers for a variety of media, and we're delighted to work with him to provide consumers engaging puzzles for mobile phones," said Robert Nashak, vice president of production, Sorrent. "The launch of Daily Puzzle serves to broaden our portfolio of mobile entertainment and adds a new dimension to our mobile entertainment offerings."

Considered one of the leading puzzle experts in the country, Scott Kim will create a wide variety of puzzles, including visual, word, numerical and logic challenges for Sorrent's Daily Puzzle. Kim's puzzle expertise is derived from a number of projects, including puzzles for Adobe.com and Juniornet.com; computer games Tetris, Bejeweled and Collapse; the toy Railroad Rush Hour; a monthly puzzle column in Discover Magazine; his book of lettering art, "Inversions;" and most recently, his Brainteasers Page-a-Day calendar for 2005.

"I am thrilled to be working with Sorrent to bring puzzles to mobile phones through Daily Puzzle," said Scott Kim. "The mobile phone is the perfect medium for puzzles, and Daily Puzzle will provide a fun challenge for people who are looking for something beyond games on their phones."
