New Motorola Talkabout T6500 and T7400 Two-Way Radios

Motorola Talkabouts are well-known for their rugged, shockproof design and robust signal. In addition to an independently field certified range of up to eight miles for the T7400 and up to five miles for the T6500, both Motorola Talkabouts come with rich feature sets.





The radios are equipped with earbuds and voice activation (VOX) for hands-free communication. Additionally, both models feature priority scanning to easily find the group's channel and code by searching all possible combinations while the home channel is scanned most frequently.

Motorola Talkabout radios have been re-engineered to upgrade technical features and to provide brawny new looks that complement the outstanding performance for which Motorola is known. The new Motorola Talkabout series of two-way radios have the built-in power to take advantage of both General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) and Family Radio Service (FRS) frequencies.

The Motorola Talkabout® T7400 has a MSRP of $109.99 (for the AA battery model) and $139.99 (for the NiMH rechargeable model). The T6500 has a MSRP of $69.99 (for the AA battery model) and $79.99 (for the NiCd rechargeable model).
