MontaVista Linux Pro 3.1 Supports New Intel Network Processors
MontaVista Linux Professional Edition 3.1 will support the new Intel network processors including the Intel IXP460, IXP465, IXP2325 and IXP2350 network processors.

The Intel IXP46X network processor is suited for modular routers, telecom line cards, and in the industrial control, RFID, and networked print imaging applications. The Intel IXP23XX product line is designed for access and edge applications such as DSLAMs, wireless infrastructure, wireless LAN aggregation switches and VPN firewalls.
MontaVista Linux provides developers with native hard real-time capabilities, rich networking, extensive hardware support, and hundreds of deployable utilities, libraries, drivers, and other run-time components. In addition to complete pre-built binaries designed to support the Intel IXP46XX and IXP23XX product lines of network processors, MontaVista provides ready access to source code, giving developers the freedom to customize the platform for their target applications and unprecedented control over their core technology.
