Mobile Service Robots Come to Every Home

Strategy Analytics' analysis on the commercial readiness of mobile robots is featured as Chapter 8 in the United Nations' Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) 2004 World Robotics report.

The United Nation's Economic Commission publishes its report on the world market for robotics annually. Until now, this report had covered traditional static manufacturing-based robots, which performed repetitive tasks. However this year, in recognition of the newer, emerging market for mobile service robots, the UN has chosen to include this category of robotic systems in its report.
