Now advertisers and agencies can reach their highly coveted audiences when they are at their most engaged and receptive: “pre-game” or “between-levels” of online video games. Clients already using EyeWonder video ads to address in-game audiences include Atari, CBS Television, Gamefly, Kellogg’s, Nintendo and Post Cereals.

As publishers deploy EyeWonder’s instant streaming video ads within their online games (or use specifically-adapted variations of existing formats), they position EyeWonder as a potentially major force in advertising to the rapidly growing world of online gaming – which is expected to hit $1.9 billion this year and $9.8 billion by 2009, according to the interactive entertainment research firm DFC Intelligence. EyeWonder’s In-Game network of sites currently includes Pogo.com, EA Games, AOL Games, and CartoonNetwork.com, and more are being added based on advertiser demand.

EyeWonder’s in-game video ad can play instantly while the game is initially loading or while advancing to the next level, creating a media-rich user experience and more compelling site visits. As soon as the TV spot is over, it triggers the game to automatically resume. Advertisers benefit because EyeWonder’s technology can guarantee the advertiser a full view of each video ad. Publishing sites gain the advantage of taking “space” (time) that was under-utilized in the past and monetizing it to the fullest potential.
