NMS Communications Announces Video Access

Video Access is a complete toolkit for developing carrier-grade, standards-based mobile video applications and solutions.

Armed with NMS' Video Access, network equipment providers, and their carrier customers will be able to rapidly bring to market open, standards-based, scalable and cost-effective mobile video solutions for both 2.5G and 3G network environments.

Part of the Open Access framework, Video Access, is the first in a series of mobile video products, ranging from enabling technology and software toolkits to complete servers and gateways that NMS will launch in the coming months, including video gateways, video messaging, and video conferencing.

Video Access is compatible with the 3G-324M video standard, the multimedia protocol of choice for operators to deliver conversational video services to their customers and an important cornerstone of new 3G services. Video Access offers a complete mobile video development environment, field proven through interoperability testing done with the International Multimedia Telecommunications Consortium (IMTC) and through carrier service deployments by NTT DoCoMo and others.
