Lucent Technologies Becomes Silver Certified CWNP Solutions Provider

The Certified Wireless Network Professionals (CWNP) Program announced that Lucent Technologies has become the first Silver Certified CWNP Solutions Provider. By becoming CWNP-certified Lucent Worldwide Services will be able to design, deploy and support wireless networks, such as Wi-Fi or wireless LANs that are more secure and reliable.

Introduced in the summer, Silver CWNP Solutions Provider Certification recognizes companies with credibility in the W-LAN services marketplace.

Lucent Worldwide Services is one of the industry's most experienced and knowledgeable network services organizations. With more than 10,500 technicians, network engineers, consultants and program managers, LWS serves the world's largest service providers, enterprises and government institutions in 49 countries and five continents. LWS manages more than 30 customer networks worldwide and supports more than 1,325 products from 200 different vendors. LWS can also tap into the knowledge of Bell Labs.

The CWNP Solutions Provider Program
The CWNP Solutions Provider program provides free business referrals and incentives to reward companies that deliver wireless LAN networking services and solutions. IT service providers can join the CWNP Solutions Provider program by employing two or more individuals who have earned at least one CWNP certification. Enrolling in the CWNP Solutions Provider program is free for qualifying companies.
