Toyota iPod Integration Kit finally released

Toyota iPod Integration Kit finally released
Japanese carmaker Toyota barely missed its rather vague "this summer" deadline to release its long awaited Apple iPod Integration Kit. Working with all models sold under Toyota and Lexus brands, the kit directly connects your iPod to the car's audio system. It even allows you to control playback from the buttons on the steering wheel, if any.

The kit, which also works as a recharging adapter, lets you store the iPod in the glove box. All the usual information, i.e. track title, elapsed time and this sort of stuff, is presented on the head unit's display.

The Toyota iPod Integration Kit is available now at a recommended price of $300.
