SteelSeries Ikari professional gaming mouse

SteelSeries will use the upcoming Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany to show off its new Ikari Professional Gaming Mouse. Created in close cooperation with such advanced clans as Team 3D, compLexity, mousesports, SK Gaming, and Team NoA, the mouse looks like the ultimate gaming device for a gamer, fancying himself a pro.





The mouse, IGN is reporting, sports an anti-sweat surface coating, probably the largest SteelSeries Glide surface, and features an ergonomic design fitting all possible styles of holding your mouse.

The Ikari Professional Gaming Mouse also features five main buttons and is available in either optical or laser design. The optical mouse can jump between two DPI settings but is nevertheless better for intense level of a first-person shooter. The laser Ikari has a larger range of DPI presets, has an LCD screen on the bottom and is ideal for RTS and MMO gamers.

The mouse is expected to hit the shelves in the last quarter of 2007. The price is yet to be announced.
