Altec Lansing has revealed its new inMotion iMV712 docking station for the iPod Video. But this time it's not a humble pair of speakers -- it's a full fledged mobile home theater solution. Well, almost.

The Altec Lansing inMotion iMV712 sports a huge 8.5-inch hi-res LCD display, making it possible to watch movies while far away from your living room's plasma TV. In your college dorm room, for example.

But if the built-in screen seems to small, there is always a possibility to connect the dock to a nearest TV-set via S-Video cable. The Altec Lansing inMotion iMV712 has also been equipped with RCA inputs making it possible attaching to it a video camera or a TV set-top box.

The sound, which is enhanced with the help of Altec Lansing SFX (Stereo Field Expander) technology, comes out of a pair of 3" speakers and a 4" subwoofer.

The Altec Lansing inMotion iMV712 docking station will be available later this month at a price of only $349.95.
