Corsair has introduced its latest take on the concept of extra-rugged USB 2.0 flash drive. The new device, called Corsair Flash Survivor, comes encased in water-resistant, shock-proof, CNC-milled aluminum body and is designed to withstand almost any kind of adventure your average James Bond may encounter.

The company claims that thanks to a seal of EPDM the Corsair Flash Survivor is resistant to 200 Meters / 20 Atmospheres of pressure. Use of rubber helps it withstand different kinds of shocks.

And it can guard your precious data against human intruders, too, keeping the data encrypted with 256-bit AES algorithm.

The Corsair Flash Survivor comes in 8GB and 4GB capacities and features sustained read/write speed of up to 34MB/sec.

The Corsair Flash Survivor is available now at different locations worldwide and is priced at US$129.99 (8GB) and US$59.99 (4GB).
