SanDisk launches 32GB 2.5" SSD (Solid State Drive) for notebooks
The new SanDisk 2.5" 32GB flash-based SSD 5000 SATA drive for notebook computers features more capacity, more convenient form factor and shorter boot time when loading Windows Vista.

While the 1.8" model offers no more than 62MB/sec sustained read rate, average access speed of 0.12ms and takes about 35 seconds for booting Windows Vista Enterprise, the new SATA drive features 67MB/sec, 0.12ms and 30 seconds respectively.
The 32GB 2.5" SSD (Solid State Drive) for notebooks is already available for system builder and costs only $350 when ordering in big lots.
