Transcend has just announced a new member of its growing family of Flash-based media players. The new T.sonic 820 series player comes with a 1.5" 128x128 OLED screen and features an FM tuner, a built-in mic and a Line-In.

Transcend T.Sonic 820 supports such popular formats as MTV, JPG, BMP, MP3, WMA, WMA-DRM10 and WAV and can also be used as an e-book reader since it can open TXT files. In its press release, Transcend says that the device will be equipped with a Playlist Builder, Real Time Clock and Karaoke-type Lyrics display.

The most interesting is the T.sonic 820's A-B repeat function, which makes the player capable of replaying a chosen section of the track over and over again.

Measuring 82 mm x 41.5 mm x 12 mm and weighing 43g, the device is by no means tiny, but it fits into a pocket anyway. It will be available in 2GB (White) and 4GB (Black) capacities.

The T.sonic 820 is power with a Li-ion battery, which will guarantee you about 15 hours of continuous playback time.

There is still no info on the model's suggested retail price and availability.
