PQI Credit Card Sized Card Drive Holds 16GB of Data

PQI Corporation has introduced another sibling of an already big family of credit card sized HDD drives. The drive in question features USB2.0/1.1 compatibility, 16GB of capacity and it is only 0.12" in width.





The drive comes equipped with Intelligent Stick retractable connector to, err… connect the HDD to a host computer. To make synchronization easier, there is a bunch of preinstalled software, such as USB Notebook Professional personal file manager.

In its press release, PQI says that the PQI Card Drive will be available in silver, grey and limited soccer ball edition. Available now are 1GB at $49.99, 2GB at $89.99 and 4GB at $139.99 (MSRP). The 8GB and 16GB version of Card Drive U510 are expected to ship early next month with suggested retail prices to be announced.
