RoverTv touts its HDD-free pocket media recorder
The new gadget from Doghouse Electronics is capable of recording movies and other video content directly from a TV set or a TiVo-box. Instead of fragile and unreliable hard disk drive, the RoverTv is equipped with internal Flash-module. And it supports secure digital memory, too.

The device will be available in two flavors - 3.5-inch "Big Screen" (320x240) and the 4-inch "Wide Screen" (480x272). It features a USB port, AV input/output and FM receiver. Its built-in lithium ion battery provides the device with a minimum of 12 hours of music recorded in MP3, MP4, WAV and other formats or 6 hours of video. By the way, the RoverTv can stream video to a TV set with a screen size up to 42".

Both "Big Screen" and "Wide Screen" RoverTvs are available right now from the company's site for $299 and $349 respectively. For this money they will ship you the device itself as well as USB cord, battery charger, AV cable, premium TXB ear buds, one 1GB SD card one 2GB SD card.
