The new Averatec AV1150 ultra-portable notebook features an impressive 10.6-inch WXGA 1280 x 768 LCD display but has been built around a little bit old Intel Pentium M ULV 733 CPU rather than the latest Core processor unit.

Although the hard-drive measuring only 80GB of disk space is pretty average, the PC sports 1GB of random access memory making it more than comfortable working with Windows XP/2000, although a part of this volume may be eaten by the integrated Intel Extreme Graphics 2 which has only 128MB of its own memory.

The Gadgets Weblog says that there is also a dual-layer DVD-burner, Intel Pro/Wireless 2200GB port and a 4-in-1 media reader. The Averatec AV1150 notebook measures mere 10.47" x 7.97" x 1.36" and weighs 3.4 pounds.
