Rotel Ships the RDV-1092 1080p DVD Player

The new Rotel RDV-1092 is a 1920 x 1080 progressive-scan DVD player with a built-in scaler and HDMI output and support for DVD-Video, DVD-Audio as well as SVCD, CD, CD-R/RW and mp3 and WMA media files.





Rotel RDV-1092's features include variable and slow search, 6-step Zoom Play, Strobe Play, and Resume functions. There are also optical and coaxial digital audio outputs, an RS-232 interface and discrete IR commands.

The RDV-1092’s video outputs include HDMI, composite, S-, and component video. Adaptive Geometrical Chroma Mapping and Digital Direct Progressive Scan reduce unwanted picture artifacts.

The RDV-1092’s SRP is impressive $1,499.00.
