Nokia Ships Its FOMA NM850iG 3G WCDMA Smartphone to NTT DoCoMo
FOMA NM850iG is basically the Nokia 6630 smartphone adapted for the Japanese mobile operator NTT DoCoMo. The device, which is working on the Symbian 60 platform, features an additional i-mode function.
With the built-in memory and in-box Reduced Size Multimedia Card (RS-MMC), it is easy to store images and videos on the FOMA NM850iG. It incorporates a 1.3 megapixel camera with a 1 to 6x variable digital zoom for picture and video capture. Its wide array of imaging features also include manual brightness and contrast adjustment, as well as a manual and automatic video editor.
FOMA NM850iG is Nokia's first 3G WCDMA device delivered to NTT DoCoMo. Nokia Japan previously delivered to NTT DoCoMo a number of 2G terminals such as DoCoMo Nokia NM206, NM207, NM157, NM502i.
