The device was actually announced almost two months ago, but it's only today that Cingular has announced the official launch date for the communicator: the 8525 will be available to the U.S. customers on Thursday, November 16.

The company promises to keep the handheld's price just a cent below the $400 mark but it possibly means that you'd have to get a long-term contract with Cingular Wireless to justify the discount.

Brighthand says that the Cingular 8525 will also feature EDGE, Wi-Fi b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 and will ensure download speeds between 400 and 700 kbps.
