Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP-HC 30-inch LCD display features the best color gamut

The latest UltraSharp 3007WFP-HC 30-inch LCD widescreen display from Dell is claimed to cover 92% of the NTSC color space, which is much better than the average 72% featured by the majority of LCD monitors currently present on the market.





Such impressive color gamut is achieved by using Wide Cold-Cathode Fluorescent Lighting (W-CCFL) backlighting.

Like most of its competitors, the Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP-HC comes with a 2,560 x 1,600 WQXGA matrix, featuring 8ms response time, and is equipped with an integrated 9-in-2 media reader and four USB 2.0 ports, DailyTech is reporting.

At present, the monitor can be ordered only as an option with Dell's XPS series gaming desktops but the company promises that by the end of the year the UltraSharp 3007WFP-HC will be available for purchase alone for $1699.
