Panasonic ToughBook CF-30 revealed
Panasonic has presented its first ToughBook CF-30 heavy-duty laptop with a Core Duo CPU on board. The dual-core processor is not really great news today so Matsushita had to equip the notebook with a 13.3-inch XGA touch-screen, featuring the "record breaking" brightness of 1000 nits.

The laptop, Notebook Review is reporting, comes with a 1.66GHz L2400 Intel Core Duo CPU. It is only 2.8 inches thick and weighs 8.2 pounds (not that bad for a rugged notebook). Of course, there is an Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG LAN Connection 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth v2.0 and an optional integrated GPS receiver

The Panasonic ToughBook CF-30 works about six hours per charge and will set you back for some $4,700.

It is expected to be available in December.
