Alienware Introduces MJ-12 7500a Desktop Workstations

The AMD-based Alienware MJ-12 7500a workstation features NVIDIA nForce4 SLI X16-based motherboard with two full bandwidth16-lane PCI Express slots.








The Alienware MJ-12 7500a can be configured with dual-core AMD Opteron processors, which deliver comparable power to dual CPUs at a lower cost, and allow new Alienware workstations to provide enhanced multitasking capabilities and outstanding performance on multi-threaded digital media applications and other processor-intensive projects.

The MJ-12 7500a is available with the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 graphics cards, and HDDs in RAID 0 and 1 configurations that provide up to 2TB of total data storage. Different Alienware Acoustic Dampening options allow these systems to maintain quiet and cool operation, even under heavy use, by supplying up to a 40% reduction in noise levels and offering Alienware's proprietary Liquid Cooling technology.
