ECS Unveils RD480-A939 CrossFire-Ready Motherboard

Elitegroup Computer Systems' (ECS) RD480-A939 CrossFire-ready motherboard based on the ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 CrossFire chipset and supports the new AMD Athlon 64 X2 processor.





The RD480-A939 features ECS' S.D.G.E. technology that lets two PCI Express-based graphic cards to be connected and to operate in tandem on one motherboard. The RD480-A939 allows overclockers to tweak a wide array of settings including memory voltage, CPU core voltage and chipset voltage, amongst others to maximize performance.

Even though the RD480-A939 is designed to be a budget CrossFire motherboard, it offers a complete range of top features including dual core, advanced 64-bit, dual-channel DDR memory architecture, high-speed Realtek RTL8110S Gigabit LAN Controller, and Realtek ALC883 8-channel audio for surround sound that belies its price.
