Planar Announces New PX2320MW LCD Monitors

Planar Systems has just presented its latest PX line of high-end LCD monitors. The new 17-, 19-, 21- and 23-inch flat panel LCD monitors have become more affordable and more productive.

The PX 19-, 21- and 23-inch monitors boast Planar's new RapidVideo accelerator, that makes the Planar PX2320MW up to five times faster than other 23-inch LCD monitors on the market. All of the PX monitors have a QuadStand base for resistance-free height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustments.

The PX2320MW monitor's specs:

23.1-inch widescreen LCD monitor with WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution

Five input options, including: digital (DVI-D) and analog; S-video and composite video; built-in, side-mounted 2+1 USB hub

Picture-in-picture (PIP) and picture-and-picture (PAP) functionality

QuadStand base with integrated TrueMedia 3W/channel stereo speakers

8 ms (gray-to-gray) response time featuring Planar's RapidVideo accelerator

800:1 contrast ratio and 250 cd/m2 brightness

Available in July at an MSRP of $1,599
