The Gateway 832GM converges the entertainment capabilities of Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition 2005 with the cool and quiet BTX chassis at a price tag of just $999.99.





Based on BTX architecture, the Gateway 832GM features quiet but efficient cooling system with two large fans that provide three times the airflow of a traditional PC.

Such a sophisticated cooling design can easily handle gaming, graphics, digital media and other power-hungry applications without overheating. The BTX design keeps key components cooler, which increases their reliability. Plus, the large fans spin at 40 percent slower speeds, resulting in whisper quiet operation that makes it the ideal entertainment PC for the living room, dorm or bedroom.

The Gateway 832GM comes with a multi-format 16x double-layer DVD+/-RW optical drive (up to 8.5GB capacity) and a 250GB serial ATA hard drive. In addition, Intel High-Definition 8-Channel Audio delivers deep, realistic sound.

The Gateway 832GM is also equipped with a TV tuner, amplified stereo speakers and 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet LAN. It is offered for a manufacturer's suggested retail price of just $999.99.
