Vodafone 802N 3G Handset

Vodafone K.K. starts selling Vodafone 802N handset by NEC on 4 February in the Kanto-Koshin region, with other regions following on February 5.

The Vodafone 802N offers exciting imaging features, such as Picture Voice for adding voice to photos and Chance Capture, which lets customers film video at length and then save 1 minute retroactively to capture the perfect moment. Since the Vodafone 802N takes full advantage of the Vodafone 3G mail service, pictures or videos of up to 300KB in size can be retouched on the handset and then easily sent off as Sha-mail picture messages or Movie Sha-mail video messages.

The main features of the Vodafone 802N are as follows:
- Picture Voice for adding voice messages to photos
- Chance Capture for conveniently capturing the right moment on video
- Compact Desktop for calling up often-used functions with shortcut icons
- Multitask for access to multiple applications simultaneously

Vodafone K.K. recently introduced free mail exchanges between customers signed up to Family Discount and Designated Number Discount for greater mail enjoyment between family and friends.
