The new Momentus 7200.1, a 100GB, 7200-RPM hard drive by Seagate, also available on the Alienware Sentia notebook, offers increased speed and endurance to Area-51m 7700 and MJ-12m 7700 ownres. Designed for continuous operation, the hard drives can be left powered-on at all times to enable quicker access to data.

The GeForce Go 7800 GTX graphics card includes such features as a new programmable shader architecture that supplies twice as much shading horsepower as previous-generation mobile GPUs, and NVIDIA PureVideo 2.0 technology, which helps to eliminate artifacts and imperfections to provide remarkably clear, home theater-quality video on the PC.
