Traveler GPS 505 from Pharos

The new Pharos Traveler GPS 505 is equipped with the superior SiRFstarIII GPS receiver and comes preloaded with the major 50 metropolitan areas of the United States.





The Pharos Traveler GPS 505 is a compact, lightweight device that sports a normal for this class of devices 3.5" color monitor and a voice guidance system with turn-by-turn directions. The Pharos Traveler also includes a Traffic Message Channel (TMC) driver for future usages of real-time traffic and other location-based information.

The destinations can be programmed by intersection, favorites or from a large Points-of-Interest library (POIs include public, government and commercial venues ranging from hotels, gas stations and restaurants to ATMs, hospitals, airports, and more). The Pharos Traveler is powered via an internal, rechargeable Li-Ion battery or through a cigarette lighter adapter.
