OnInstant Introduces PSTN interconnect

OnInstant's new VoIP service includes 'FollowMe!', voice conferencing, PSTN interconnect, global business directory enquiries and enhanced interface





Called 'FollowMe!', the new service increases business efficiency and availability by using a unique and patent-pending technology that puts through calls automatically to a sequence of pre-set numbers until connection is established.

'FollowMe!' is enabled through an agreement between OnInstant and Level 3 Communications. In addition to communicating without call costs with other OnInstant subscribers, users can make and receive VoIP calls from their personal computers to any voice-enabled device anywhere in the world through PSTN and mobile networks. Calls to UK mobiles will initially cost less than 10p per minute and calls to over 30 countries have been fixed at a rate of 2p or less per minute. All existing OnInstant business customers and new customers will receive a free credit of 200 call minutes.
