The Audible Internet Audio Service Now Available for the Tapwave Zodiac
Customers Instantly Save $100 Off the Price of a Zodiac from the Tapwave Online Store When Purchased with a One-Year AudibleListener Subscription
Audible, Inc., and Tapwave, Inc., announced that Audible's award-winning Internet audio service is now a feature of the Tapwave Zodiac handheld. The ability to store and play Audible's best-selling and classic audiobooks, audio newspapers and magazines, radio programs, and original shows is now a differentiating feature of the Tapwave Zodiac handheld.
To support this partnership, the Tapwave Online Store is offering a $100 discount off the purchase price of Zodiac 1 (MSRP now $269) or Zodiac 2 (MSRP now $349) with a 12-month subscription to one of Audible's AudibleListener(R) membership programs. Tapwave and Audible have also formed a content sales relationship that drives existing Zodiac owners from tapwave.com to audible.com to purchase audiobooks and programs for their device.
All new Zodiac customers will be offered two free audio programs as part of a complimentary month of AudibleListener(R). AudibleListener is the monthly membership plan that gives customers the choice of any two audiobooks from Audible's collection of more than 6,000 titles (regularly $21.95), or one audiobook and one 1-month subscription (regularly $14.95).
More than 32 hours of Audible's audio can be stored and played back on Zodiac 2 models, which have 128 MBs of internal RAM. In addition, users can transfer and play back many more hours of Audible's audio titles by adding SD cards in the Zodiac's two expansion slots, offering up to 2GB of additional storage.
