DocuPen Enters Guinness World Records Book

Patented Pen Scanner Technology from Planon System Solutions, Inc. Scans an Entire Page in 4 Seconds

Guinness World Records has certified Planon's DocuPen as the lightest A4 document scanner in the World and will feature it in the 2005 edition.

Planon's DocuPen R700 is a fully portable, full-page scanner that is the size of a pen and weighs just 1.75 ounces and is only 8.5 inches long. While traditional pen scanners only read individual lines of text and are unable to scan graphics, the DocuPen scans an entire page of text and graphics in just four seconds and stores up to 100 pages in its 2 megabytes of flash memory.

The DocuPen R700 can scan a range of documents, such as blueprints, maps and sketches, and send them as email attachments instead of faxing them and recipients can store the information on their computers for easy access.
