Hop-on to Introduce Improved Wireless Surveillance Systems
Hop-on.com will introduce its enhanced wireless surveillance systems at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show.
The upgraded Models 2145 and 2245 utilize a 2.4 GHz frequency for both its indoor/outdoor cameras and color LCD display, which formerly both operated on a 1.2 GHz frequency. The benefits of these improvements include a clearer picture and audio signal as well as a longer range transmission capability. In addition, these new wireless surveillance systems now include rechargeable lithium ion batteries to provide longer battery life compared to the AA batteries on the previous models. Both systems still include four mountable cameras (2 wide angle lenses and 2 long range viewing lenses) with night vision that automatically adjust to changes in light to ensure clear images night or day. The cameras also transmit an audio pickup from each location and are waterproof so the system can be used for outdoor or indoor operation. The system comes with a handheld, color LCD monitor that allows users to view each location as well as turn on or off each camera.
