New Vodafone 902SH 3G Handset by Sharp

Vodafone K.K. announces that it will commence sales of the high end Vodafone 902SH handset by Sharp on 29 December in the Kanto-Koshin region, with a nationwide rollout following thereafter





The Vodafone 902SH features a Mobile ASV display, which is based on ASV (Advanced Super View) liquid crystal display technology found in Sharp’s AQUOS line of LCD TVs. As a result customers can enjoy remarkably clear viewing in bright locations outside and in dark spots indoors.

In addition the handset display offers wide views of 160 degrees from all angles without any color distortion.

The main features of the Vodafone 902SH are as follows:

• Mobile ASV LCD display for superior viewing from all angles and 180 degree reversible Swivel Style screen
  The Vodafone 902SH’s 180 degree reversible Swivel Style 2.4-inch giant LCD display uses
  Mobile ASV, which is based on ASV (Advanced Super View) liquid crystal display technology
  found in Sharp’s AQUOS line of LCD TVs. The handset offers remarkably clear viewing in
  bright locations outside and in dark spots indoors, as well as wide views of 160 degrees from
  all angles without any colour distortion. As a result customers can freely enjoy photography or
  image viewing at a variety of angles.
  
  
• Auto focus 2.02 megapixel mobile CCD camera with 2x optical zoom
  The Vodafone 902SH features a 2.02 megapixel CCD mobile camera with a 2x optical zoom
  for vivid photography even when zooming up. By utilising the handset’s Swivel Style design,
  the reversible LCD screen can be used as a viewfinder for a true digital camera like feel and
  enhanced photographic enjoyment.
  
  
• 3D surround stereo speakers for realistic sound
  The back of the handset houses 3D surround stereo speakers so customers can enjoy
  extremely realistic audio when listening to downloaded Chaku-Uta ringsongs, ringtones or
  other music data from external sources.
  
  
• International roaming for seamless voice, mail, web and video call services in Japan and abroad
  The Vodafone 902SH supports international roaming for voice, mail and web services. In
  addition, video call roaming is possible so customers can see and hear one another from
  abroad during business trips or vacations as if they were in Japan.
