Much anticipated Desktop/LX1.4 has been delayed

The fourth generation Linux desktop distribution from Lycoris has been delayed this week because of a serious bug in the 'gold code'.

Linux Format informs that publishing of the next Linux desktop distribution Desktop/LX1.4 has been rescheduled due to a bug that affected all implementations of WINE, which is an Open Source implementation of the Windows API on top of X and Unix, rendering such critical applications as CrossOver, Cedega and WINE itself useless on the whole system.

Spokesman for Maple Valley, Washington-based Lycoris Mr. Robert Norton expressed his confidence that the company's development team was on track with a fix and that the release date would not be put back too far.
