NetBank Makes Gift Giving Easy with Visa Gift Card
NetBank, Inc. announced that it has begun offering Visa gift cards through the NetBank website. The cards are available in amounts up to $1,000 and can be embossed with the recipient's name and a personalized message.
Unlike many retail gift cards, holders of the NetBank Visa gift card have the ability to make purchases online or over the phone, monitor their spending, and suspend the card if it's lost or stolen.
Gift cards continue to grow in popularity with consumers. According to Mercator Advisory Group, more than 78 million U.S. consumers purchased gift card products in 2003. NetBank plans to begin offering reloadable stored-value cards in 2005.
