GameDAILY Launches New Kids-Only Website
GameDAILY has announced that GameDAILY Kids, a new website aimed at providing kids with information on the video games they play, has launched today. Located at www.gamedailykids.com, GameDAILY Kids provides young gamers with reviews, previews and fun features on the video games that are best suited to their age group.
GameDAILY Kids will be updated on a weekly basis with new content for kids to enjoy. Featured on the website will be reviews, previews, and news about all of the hottest new games, as well as interactive features like games to download and play, and polls to vote in. Best of all, all of the games featured on the website will be games that are rated E for Everyone by the ESRB, meaning they have been created with kids in mind. Says Jill Keil, Editor in Chief of GameDAILY Kids, "Most video game publications cater to the majority of gamers, who are over 21 years of age, and can therefore purchase and play games that depict violence, or have adult themes. Information on games created for younger players is sparse and often hard to come by. GameDAILY Kids is unique because it focuses on games for younger players, and provides them with a destination where they can learn more about the games that they are allowed to buy and play." GameDAILY Kids is committed to covering kid's games, and providing kids with the information they want to know; namely, whether the game is fun, and whether it is easy or hard to pick up and play.
GameDAILY Kids has been designed to work alongside the upcoming GameDAILY Family. Both sites are dedicated to making the video game shopping experience an easier one for kids and parents. Says Keil, "GameDAILY Kids provides kids with a place to read about the newest games and decide which games they would like based on factors like whether the game is difficult, or whether other kids their age enjoyed it. GameDAILY Family provides parents with a resource to learn more about the games their kids are reading about, and to help them make an informed decision about whether the games are suitable for their kids."
GameDAILY Kids will cover games created for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube, Game Boy Advance and PC platforms, and will include reviews of all titles that are rated E for Everyone by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB).
